Firmware version 4.2.14 is now available for free download for all ESU command stations.

From version 4.2.14, a WiThrottle server is implemented for the first time for the ESU CabControl. This enables compatible handheld controllers or smartphone apps (especially the well-known Enginedriver for Android or WiThrottle for Apple iOS) to connect directly to the ICU command station via WLAN and control locomotives and accessories. No additional hardware components are required. The firmware for the CabControl can be downloaded free of charge.

The WiThrottle server is also available for the ECoS command stations 50220, 50210 and 50020 with color display from firmware 4.2.14. These command stations can also now also be accessed directly with compatible apps or handheld controllers.
The older ECoS command stations and Central Station Reloaded devices also benefit from the new firmware 4.2.14: it is now possible to copy routes. This makes it much easier to set up more complex system controls.
All ESU forum users registered with their ECOS serial number can download the new firmware free of charge.
