The largest number of Bombardiers Traxx locomotives had been built of freight units as F140 AC and multi current F140 MS. The samples of the two body styles differ at the front design but internally they are quite the same. The four axle locos deliver 4600 kW and reach a maximum speed of 140 km/h. The locos were used as BR 185 (German DB and private users), 482, 484 (Swiss SBB Cargo), 485 (Swiss BLS) and Class 4000 (CFL of Luxembourg).
